TYPES OF FILE

File is used for removing excess material and they are made of High carbon steel.
Files are many types according there Grade, cut and shape.

According to Grade - five types of file 
  1. Rough file
  2.  Bastard file
  3.  Second cut file
  4.  smooth file and
  5.  Dead smooth file 
According to cut - four types 
  1. Single cut file
  2. Double cut file
  3. Rasp cut file
  4. Curved file
According to Shape - seven types 
  1. Flat file 
  2. Hand file 
  3. Round file
  4. Half round file 
  5. Square file 
  6. Triangular file
  7. Knife edge file
