Ø Files are Specified according to there – Length , grade, cut and
shape.
Ø What is the length of a file – The length of a file is the
distance from tip to the
heel.
Ø What is the grade of a file – The grade of a file is spacing of
the teeth.

chips will clog between the teeth of file, this is known as -- pinning of files.
Ø Pinning of the file is removed by
using a – File card.
